A while ago, I watched A Wrinkle in Time. I am totally in love with the story and the way they presented all of these metaphors. It is filled with spirituality and wisdom. It is a love story about life, but I won’t tell it in detail. It is not that familiar I think, but I really think it is worth watching at least once. 

This story and the song Flower of the Universe created this vision in my mind. Along with the beauty of this movie and all it made me feel. This came to life. I sketched it years ago, but never took the step of painting it. 

Then one day. Not special in any way, became the start of this painting. I took my paints and my brushes and took the most random piece of wood that felt good. I started and it went all good. The background was finished and I was so happy. 

Then one moment I looked away and I didn’t move fast enough. It fell on the stones. I looked for a moment and felt a little discouraged. I knew I couldn’t do anything right now. I waited a day until it dried. I watched it and thought maybe if I use some sandpaper the bits of sand come off and maybe the texture will be something I like. 

I took a risk, but there was no turning back. It turned out better than I could expected. With my message in mind, the rest came slowly to life.  

Being in charge of your life. Awareness for ourselves and each other. Believe in people and give love wherever you can. Connect on a deeper level and be open to new possibilities. Fight for what you believe in, and above all, keep trying and learning. Life goes on. This is your life, this is your place. A starting place from which you can do what feels right. You can contribute to what you want to see in the world. You are responsible for what you want to create. These are your moments. These are your ups and downs. "Our love is not gone, it's just infolded"
