A light of my day
This was last week. I had a normal day. Just going through the hours. I honestly didn't want to go shopping. All the other things are way more fun to do. Still, this had to happen. Some things just have to be done, even though you rather do all the other things you had planned. I took my bike and rode towards the store. There I looked at all the things my eyes set on the shelves. There were a lot of delicious-tasting foods, but I didn’t want to stay longer than I needed. So I went straight towards the checkout.
A line is full of people. The cool air around me. The supermarket is quiet, but the one person in front of me has a cart full of food. I'm standing with 4 things in my cart. She looks around and saw a glimpse of my groceries.
“Go ahead, because I have a lot more,” she says with an uplifting voice.
“Thank you,” I told her surprisingly.
Her eyes sparkled and her smile gave me a warm feeling.
